1. Overview

Watchborg is designed as a temporary processing platform for property inspection content. The platform facilitates the recording, processing, and delivery of inspection videos and does not serve as a permanent storage solution.

This policy explains how long we retain different types of data and what happens to your content after it has been processed and delivered.

2. Temporary Storage of Video Content

Inspection recordings are stored temporarily during processing and delivery. Watchborg does not function as a long-term storage or archival service for video content.

  • Once an inspection has been successfully delivered to its designated destination (e.g., uploaded to the user’s YouTube channel or delivered to specified recipients), the video content is queued for deletion.
  • Deletion of video content typically occurs within 30 minutes of successful delivery.
  • Users should NOT rely on Watchborg as a permanent backup or archive for their recordings.

3. No Permanent Storage Guarantee

Important: Watchborg does not guarantee the availability of any content beyond the processing and delivery period. Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups of important recordings.

4. Metadata Retention

Certain metadata may be retained for operational, billing, and legal compliance purposes, including:

  • Inspection IDs and reference numbers
  • Timestamps (creation, delivery, and deletion dates)
  • Billing records (credit transactions, payment history)
  • Account activity logs
  • User account information (as long as the account is active)

Metadata is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by applicable law.

5. Account Data

  • User account information is retained for the duration of the account’s active life.
  • Upon account deletion, personal data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.

6. Legal Holds

Notwithstanding the above, Watchborg may retain data longer if required by law, regulation, or legal proceeding (e.g., litigation hold, regulatory investigation). In such cases, data will be retained for the minimum period required to comply with the applicable legal obligation.

You have the right to understand what data we hold about you and to request its deletion, subject to our legal obligations.
