1. Purpose

This policy outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Watchborg property inspection platform. By using Watchborg’s services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Content

Users may NOT upload, record, or distribute content that:

  • Contains illegal material
  • Depicts or facilitates violence, harassment, or threats
  • Contains sexually explicit material
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Includes personal information of individuals without their consent
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading

3. Recording Permissions

Users are responsible for:

  • Obtaining proper authorization before recording any property
  • Ensuring all occupants or relevant parties are informed of the recording
  • Complying with local, provincial/state, and federal recording and privacy laws
  • Not recording areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy (bathrooms, bedrooms of occupied units without consent)

It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure that all recording activities comply with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Watchborg does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for users’ failure to obtain proper authorization.

4. Platform Abuse

Users may NOT:

  • Use the platform for purposes other than legitimate property inspections
  • Attempt to circumvent credit or billing systems
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt platform operations
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties

5. Enforcement

Watchborg reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice
  • Remove content that violates this policy
  • Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Forfeit remaining credits on terminated accounts
  • Cooperate with legal authorities when required by law

Enforcement actions are at Watchborg’s sole discretion. The severity of the response will be proportional to the violation and may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

6. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this policy, contact support@watchborg.com with details of the concern. Please include any relevant evidence or documentation to assist in our review.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the current policy. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
